Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis Leading to Board Certification
Individuals interested in coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) may participate in the Virginia Applied Behavior Consortium (VABC). The Consortium provides coursework that enables the participant to take the examination that leads to Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (BACB). The Consortium is comprised of four colleges/universities: George Mason University, Old Dominion University, Lynchburg College, and Virginia Commonwealth University. In the Consortium, coursework is taught in one of the four locations and students meet in any of these locations to take the courses virtually. Participants can also complete the supervised experience required to take the exam by completing practicum courses for credit while completing the coursework.
This Consortium allows participants to complete coursework and supervised experience from many locations throughout the state. For more information, please visit the Virginia ABA Consortium website.
